Active Ingredients
Wild-harvested on New Zealand’s eastern cape by bees pollinating native Mānuka bush. This honey is renowned for its enzyme and antibacterial properties, thanks to the high methylglyoxal (MGO) content and an enzyme called glucose oxidase. This enzyme kills bacteria, reducing skin congestion. Mānuka honey also breaks down oils and dead skin cells, and has natural exfoliating effects that brighten and even out skin tone. Mānuka honey is a natural humectant, drawing moisture into the skin. This helps keep the skin hydrated and maintains its elasticity, promoting a healthier complexion. It is extremely hydrating, promotes skin regeneration, repairs cellular damage, calms inflammation and lessens the appearance of scars.
Kūmarahou flowers contain natural saponins, which are soap-like substances that gently break down dirt and oils. These saponins produce a lather which causes this cleanser to turn from honey to milk when it meets water. Kūmarahou flowers have deep moisturizing properties, helping to maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier. This is crucial for keeping the skin hydrated and preventing dryness, especially after cleansing.
Soothes irritated and inflamed skin, reducing redness and discomfort. Extracted from the embryonic stage of Mamaku leaves, it contains a unique polysaccharide that hydrates, smooths, and plumps dry skin. This biodynamic matrix creates a protective barrier against moisture loss, delivering immediate lifting and firming effects.
Sustainably harvested in Kawhia, New Zealand, Kawakawa leaves are valued for their detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and moisturizing benefits. Rich in myristicin and diayangambin, they help cleanse the skin, treat acne, and promote a clearer complexion. Additionally, they boost blood circulation to support cell regeneration and healing. Harvesting is conducted under the guidance of Mana Wahine, custodians of Mātauranga Māori heritage, ensuring respectful and sustainable practices.
A gentle cleansing agent derived from coconuts. It provides a mild, sulphate-free alternative to harsh surfactants that can strip the skin of its natural oils. Often used in baby products for its gentle cleansing properties, sulphate-free formulation and ability to cleanse effectively while preserving moisture. Biodegradable and environmentally friendly, it creates a rich, luxurious foam and leaves an elegant after-feel.
Another gentle, yet effective cleansing agent made from glucose (sugar). It biodegradable, ensuring a low environmental impact without compromising on performance. Perfect for all skin types, especially sensitive skin, it offers mild, non-irritating cleanse that leaves your skin feeling fresh and soft.
Derived from a blend of mango, papaya, and pineapple, these enzymes gently exfoliate dead skin cells, promoting a brighter, more even complexion. Enzymes work by breaking down keratin proteins in the upper skin layer, which bind dead skin cells together, allowing them to slough off more easily. This process helps relieve clogged pores, tone the skin, and reduce acne, resulting in smoother, softer skin while also diminishing scars and pigmentation.
A poly-hydroxy acid (PHA) derived from sugar beet, which enhances skin tone and texture by gently dissolving dead cells that cause a rough, dull complexion. Its larger molecular size compared to alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) limits deeper penetration, making it a suitable choice for sensitive skin. It smooths texture, brightens the complexion, and effectively removes dead skin cells while minimizing irritation.

How to Use
Pump six times into the palm of your hand and apply to damp skin.
For daily cleansing, massage onto skin in circular motions for 60 seconds to dissolve SPF, make up and impurities. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
For a deeply nourishing and exfoliating treatment, leave on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing off.
Use it as a double cleanser, and keep it on for 5-10 minutes on the second cleanse step before rinsing off. This allows the enzymatic action to gently exfoliate, and the Mānuka, wild botanicals to nourish the skin so skin will feel extra fresh, hydrated glowing, and juicy. We recommend doing a mask 1-2 times a week with this product.
The Enzyme Mechanism is fascinating – it breaks down the “glue” that holds dead skin cells together, allowing them to be easily sloughed off. This leaves the skin smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking.

MGO (Methylglyoxal) is the secret behind Mānuka honey’s powerful healing abilities. The higher the MGO, the more potent its antibacterial and healing properties. This natural powerhouse not only helps fight off harmful bacteria but also speeds up wound healing, reduces inflammation, and soothes irritated skin. Perfect for treating acne, eczema, and other skin conditions, high MGO Mānuka honey promotes healthy tissue regeneration, fights infections, and even helps prevent scarring.
Yes, if you are using the product as a cleanser, then you can go on to use your Morning Dew Vitamin C Serum or Yellow Moonbeam Retinal Elixir.
If you are using it as a treatment mask, then skip the treatments for that morning/ evening, and go straight on to using your Cocoon Ceramide Cream (or chosen moisturiser)
We like to use it to double cleanse so the first cleanse removes make up and the second cleanse deeply clarifies pores.
We do everything we can to source materials that are both safe for the planet and safe for the person. We also ensure our ingredients are sustainably produced, have a low impact on the land, and are easily regenerated. For example, in marine algae harvesting, our suppliers follow Tikanga Māori - a strict, traditional harvesting practice of the indigenous people of New Zealand. By using this time proven approach, we harvest our ingredients without compromising our environmental and social responsibilities. This respectful approach means we can offer high potency natural bioactives whilst respecting the land and water that the ingredients came from.
